Early Intervention and Re-Integration Program (EARS)
The success of Cowan's EARS program is a result of the constructive, pro-active and positive partnership we manage between the employer, employee,
union representative and the disability insurer.
The goal is to establish a return-to-work strategy specific to the employee. Barriers are explored early in the process.
The focus is on maximizing the skills and capabilities of the employee and initiating a return to work when their condition allows.

- Facilitating an earlier return-to-work
- Supporting and following-up during the return-to-work process
- Co-ordinating benefits from all sources
- Optimizing the flow of communication between the disability insurers and the employer by assuring that the provided documentation is complete and accurate
